Albums, books and storybooks

Albums.  You can have a choice of three different album styles, prices are on application too but I’ve put a few examples below to give you a good idea.  The album companies we use offer lots of different sizes, page numbers, covers and so on.

A press-printed coffee table style book, printed on paper like a book.  Brilliantly tactile and hard-wearing, a lot of people who have these leave them out and about for people to flick through rather than putting them in a big box under the bed.  An A4 30-page (roughly 120 photos) storybook is £200, an A3 one is £250.

This album is a happy medium between the more informal storybook and the traditional matted album, printed on traditional photographic paper mounted back to back, the flushmount offers stiffer pages than the storybook without the bulk of the matted.  These also lay flat so you can get a lovely panoramic photo in somewhere if you like.  A 14” x 10” flushmount album with 15 pages (roughly 60 images) is £400, an 18” x 12” is £550.

This is much more traditional, with the photos being printed on proper photographic paper and mounted behind traditional matts.  The company we use offer a contemporary twist on these in that they offer full bleed pages similar to the flushmount, meaning you can have the photos right to the edge on a couple of pages.  These are the sorts of albums that tend to go back into the box under the bed, brought out for special occasions only.  A 14” x 10” matted album with 15 pages (roughly 60 photos) is £750, an 18” x 12” is £850.
